The latest Geometry Games share a common foundation, and this FAQ applies equally to all of them. In the questions and answers below, the term application refers to whatever application you are currently using, such as the Torus Games or Curved Spaces.
Q1. What version of Mac OS X do I need?
For best performance you’ll need Mac OS X 10.4 or later. The application also runs under Mac OS 10.3.9, but with a few minor features missing (for example when copying an image to another application, transparent backgrounds won’t be handled correctly). If you are running an earlier version of Mac OS 10.3, you can get a free upgrade to 10.3.9 from Apple’s upgrade site.
The application has not been systematically tested under 10.3.9. If you notice any problems, please report them via the Geometry Games Contact Page for a prompt fix (if possible).
Q2. When I try to run the application, it starts up but then immediately quits. What’s its problem?
You need to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.3.9 as explained above.
Q3. My question doesn’t appear on this FAQ. What should I do?
First take a look at the application’s built-in help files (choose Help… from the application’s Help menu). If they don’t resolve your question, please submit it via the Geometry Games Contact Page for a more-or-less prompt reply.
